Is there a website to go to that tells you the duration of perfume???

ie: How long a certain perfume lasts??Is there a website to go to that tells you the duration of perfume???
There is no way to measure exactly how long a scent will last. It depends on various factors such as application and body temperature of the wearer. However, here are some generalities:

Eau De Cologne, also known as Cologne, has the greatest dilution of fragrance with a 3-5% concentration of scent. Normally fragrances with the Eau de Cologne designation last for up to 3 hours.

Eau De Toilette is a fragrance that contains 4-8% concentration of scent. It is best for everyday use and is normally less expensive than Eau de Perfume but more expensive than Eau de Cologne. Normally fragrances with the Eau De Toilette designation last for 3 to 5 hours.

Eau De Perfume is a fragrance that contains an 8-15% concentration of scent and has longer lasting characteristics than Eau De Toilette. Eau De Perfume has an average duration of 4 to 6 hours and is stronger than Eau De Toilette but lighter than Perfume.

Perfume is a fragrance that contains of a 15-30% concentration of scent and is the strongest fragrance available. Fragrances with the Perfume designation typically last for up to 8 hours, depending on skin type.

Remember, the higher the concentration of scent, the less the wearer needs to apply. Is there a website to go to that tells you the duration of perfume???
they usually say like 6 monthes, but i have had some longer and still good, i think i would maybe say a year Report Abuse

There isn't ONE certain website, there are several that review perfumes. Keep in mind that perfume and cologne reacts with each person's body differently, thus it may last longer on others. It also depends on other factors such as outside temperature, if you are sweating and so on.
try a perfume on your self and start stop watch
